Mini Biography

Saginaw Grant is an American Indian actor who has worked in the film and television industry for over 30 years. He is the hereditary Chief of the Sac & Fox tribe and is one of the most respected figures in the Native American community. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War and has traveled as a delegate to the United Nations Conference on Human Rights in Germany.

He recently played Chief Big Bear in the film The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp and directed by Gore Verbinski. Saginaw co-starred with Anthony Hopkins in The World’s Fastest Indian, co-starred with Adam Sandler in The Ridiculous 6, and was awarded Best Supporting Actor at the American Indian Film Festival for his role in the film Skinwalkers.

Saginaw has appeared in numerous television shows including Breaking Bad, Shameless, American Horror Story, Saving Grace, My Name is Earl, Family Tree, Baskets and VEEP.
