Richard Boyce (Federal Judge Ret.):


Mini Biography

Richard Boyce was born in Nevada, Iowa and attended George Washington University on a basketball scholarship.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1955 and then received his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa and attended the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served on the law review and graduated cum laude.

He worked as an attorney at the National Labor Relations Board in Seattle from 1963-1973 and as an Administrative Law Judge for the N.L.R.B. in San Francisco from 1973-1993.

Richard Boyce is the author of "A Hometown Remembered", a book about small-town Iowa early in the 20th century.
